"TL:DR - Staycation Fiberglass Pools made this a painless install and i'd do it again. This is not a small purchase, pools are expensive. I spent the better part of half a year looking at pool companies, traditional and fiberglass. Looking at reviews, reading about the installation process, and more. There were a LOT of horror stories out there from so many people it made me insanely nervous. I ultimately decided on fiberglass for the easier and shorter install process and met with about 6 companies. When it came down to it, we felt the most comfortable with the product (Thursday pools) and the installers (Staycation) and started the process with Staycation fiberglass. They told us there was a wait period for our install due to a backlog, but were very up front about it and pretty darn accurate as well with the timeline (pretty short). When dig day came, they came out and re verified the location and expectations with me prior to dig. I was incredibly glad they did because we had a miscommunication between what we thought and what they drew out on the yard. They came, took down the fences, brought all the equipment, and just did everything. They knew I had a dog so did their best to block the gaping hole in the fence which made it a little easier to try to manage the dog during the install process. They made quick work of everything honestly. They communicated regularly, they let me know when they wouldn't be out there due to some weather delays. They let me make some small changes (Umbrella holders in the cement outside the pool) which I was grateful for. I think end to end it was just over a month from start to finish, basically all of November. That includes the artificial grass install after. Also huge compliment to that as they recommended someone, bundled the price into the contract, and the grass installer was amazing. Its winter time so the water is cold but i've done a winter plunge a couple of times just to say I got in the pool. They did a great job cleaning up, repairing the fence, teaching me how to use everything, and leaving me a working and clean pool. While i've only had it for a couple of weeks now i'm REALLY looking forward to the spring time when we can start swimming!
