"After being out of town for a bit we came home to a nightmare. We had a large ice-dam on our roof and water found its way into our living room and entryway foyer damaging the walls, ceiling carpet and hardwood flooring. Because of the layout, the hardwood continues all the way into the kitchen at the back of house. 2nd City showed up on day 1 and started the mitigation and addressed the ice-damming (removed the problem) on the roof. The mitigation effort was fully contained because of the “micro-environment” that they erected, it was essentially a free-standing plastic room within our home. Once the flooring and wall area was dried out the crews went to work and addressed and repaired the damage. New drywall and paint in the living then the hardwood flooring guys resanded, stained and poly-coated the floors and finally the crew came in and installed the new carpet. I made one phone call to 2nd City Restoration and the rest of the job was taken care of, in fact they did such a good job for us we ended hiring the crews to do some additional remodeling for us. Bottom line, I would (and have) recommended 2nd City Restoration! They do a very fine job!"
