"The cabin was clean and comfortable with a wonderful fireplace. It is convenient to town without a lot of traffic or noise. Great place to get away. The staff was great and attentive to our needs."

"The service was great, it's a family business so don't be rude. The lodge was warm and clean. The first night they give us a black bag with wood inside to turn on the chimney. The common area have bbq and a hot table where you can enjoy outside without freeze. High recommended if you are not a pig and you like to leave a mess and someone else clean."

I re-reviewed your website and booking pages, the address is listed in small print at the very bottom of the page. The reason I did not cancel sooner is because none of your communication made the address obvious until the confirmation that provided directions. I am still seeking a full refund for this booking, is there anyone I can contact to discuss since you are no longer working with the company with whom I booked? Thank you. **Original review** Incredibly disappointed by the sketchy booking practices, lack of customer service and RUDE employees. I accidentally booked a weekend at "Shadow Mountain Lodge and Cabins" when attempting to book Shadow Mountain Lodge in CO. The "website" button on Google brought me to the NM website. The website does not list the location ANYWHERE on the main page or booking page, it was not until I received an email with directions from Shadow Mountain Lodge and Cabins that I realized my mistake. I called to discuss cancelling my reservation and was treated horribly by the supervisor, Amanda. Amanda was extremely rude from the start, stating she has 'absolutely no control' over the ability to issue a refund and refused to provide a contact number for the person who does. She then HUNG UP on me; I have never received such terrible customer service in my life. This place has extremely sketchy business practices, I would not recommend them to anyone."

"Room was nice and clean but smelled alittle. You should consider some sort of infuser or scents to make it more welcoming. Overall we enjoyed our stay"

"Vastly different experience than last time we stayed here. Housekeeping skipped us for replacing our towels although dirty towels were put outside before the noon deadline. Now we have to reuse our dirty towels that were sitting outside all day. Housekeeping also skipped us for the “refresh”. The shower has more water coming out of the tub faucet than the shower head. Sheets slipped off the bed and the cover was very heavy but not warm. Only one side table next to sofa so someone will have to hold their own drink. Nice fireplace but no logs… guess that’s byo logs. Only space for hanging clothes. We will probably leave a day early although we paid for a week. We will not be staying here again."
