"Service department is a full on scam operation! Bunch of commission based service guys just trying to tack on services that are NOT needed. Car goes in for basic repairs and suddenly needs $7k+ worth of work. $500 diagnose fee and $290 labor rate is ridiculous!. Parts are marked up like crazy and service guy can’t be bothered to break down cost until pressed for an itemized quote. Jerry is who we worked with and his fake and insincere customer service voice isn’t convincing anyone. Stay away unless you like to be taken for a ride where they hold your car hostage after charging a ridiculous fee just to diagnose. Go ANYWHERE else to get work done."
"Used to go to Hopkins Ford in Elgin for the first 40k miles of my 2021 F150 for service. Look for my 1 star review and why. Going to this dealership for service was awesome. They were professional, friendly, and treated me like a customer as opposed to a burden. They even brought my son kid books to read while we waited for an oil change. I actually look forward to going back for my next service."
"We went to Hawk because we had an error code on our car. $330 to remove 2 screws and replace a $30 part they charged me over $200 for and the car came back with 9 error codes. It's safe to say that we would never reccomend their services."
