"This is a second review I’m leaving under my real name (see other review under @the English Professor). I’ve been a satisfied customer of Fox Valley Coins since 2021 and would send my family to all of these guys if I were on my death bed and needed to recommend where they should go to sell my collection. Christian, Mike, and all of the guys there are consistently friendly and professional and I always feel well taken care of when I’m in the shop. I’m responding to the negative review from customer Scott for the purpose of highlighting the owner’s classy response and follow up response to Scott’s misunderstanding of what occurred during his experience at FVC. Who takes the time to compose a thorough and sincere response like that to an insatiate review like the one Scott left? The answer is: an owner who cares about his customers and the legacy of his business. He explained what happened, acknowledged that there was likely a misunderstanding during the transaction, and wasn’t insulting or condescending to Scott in responding to the review. That’s class, in my book, and that’s why I continue to patronize Fox Valley Coin on a regular basis. I have four different local coin shops I rely on and FVC is always at the top of my list."

"I have been coming here for years. I love that they have US notes and silver certificates, which are some of my favorites to collect. They always let you take your time. They never put pressure on anyone to hurry up and buy. It’s kind of like a place where the coin collector can sit and chat. They always have a fair price and will listen if you think the price is off. Never had a bad experience. Plus they have little extras, like the box of foreign coins for kids to just pick a coin or three they like. Marlon and the guys are so welcoming. A++++"

"I went in today to see what a collection of coins my father left me was worth. I won't get into all the details, but one of the things i had was 2 bags of 100 half dollars in each bag ($50). They offered $8 for each bag. That's $16 for $100. After that, I'm sorry I wouldn't trust you with all the silver dollars I brought to you today. ***This part of my review is in response to the owners comment.** It was very clear that you offered $8 dollars for each bag of the half dollars. My son was there to witness. Anyway, I love how you try to turn the situation around. You chose not to open the the bags up. Your comment was you assumed there was 100 coins in each bag and offered $8 per bag. I asked you for a card and your name, (Christian). I wrote the date on the card and what you were offering for the coins and you confirmed it."

"First time visiting Fox Valley Coins to get a couple of coins for our budding coin collection. Many different American coins/currency in their rotating cabinets, probably enough for hours of browsing. We felt confident buying the graded coins and pleased with the pricing and service we received. Thank you and we look forward to visiting again."
