"My dad gave my mom a pair of champagne diamond earrings for an anniversary a while back. She wore them to a cold LSU football game and, somehow, fighting a coat and scarf, one fell out of her ear. Devastated, she kept the one earring in her jewelry box. A few years later, they brought the lone diamond to you and asked you to design a beautiful ring for me with the once sad and lonely earring. They gave it to me for Christmas and I ADORED it along with the story. What was once a sad reminder of what was incomplete and lost was made complete again and that is so special.
