All I had to do was bring in my estate inheritance for expert analysis and reasonable estimates of value. I came back in with gold, silver, both coins and jewelry, precious stones ... You name it--the agent owner was interested in the purest elements he could get for nothing only to melt them down. His prerogative for sure. Now, I know how the market is... But, I also know that a pure silver necklace from the 20s "flapper" girl era is worth more than its weight in a melted ounce of silver. I never really let on that I was disappointed in his obvious swing in attitude that changed from one of joviality in the beginning!!! Reality is folks, this man in charge was now, in my opinion, a vapid, lackluster, mundane, apathetic even, Selfserving Profitteer! I speak with confidence because of this gentleman. I made it my passion to locate somewhat up-front experts who were surprised at the quality and value presented to them. Most were glad to be fair on value and open on what you can do to take it a step further, if you have the time!
