"My Chihuahua Penelope was bleeding from every orifice. I told them this over the phone , asking if they were an emergency vet. They said they were. When they finally saw us hours later, they poked her full of holes and ignored me saying her clotting was gone. She bled profusely from every orifice and hole as they told me to go home with my dying dog and come back if she got worse. I then lost it and asked them how much more dead my dog needs to be to get actual treatment. They then admitted they couldn't handle this and I had to pay them $700 to then run to a real hospital where she died. They wasted hours of her life with waiting and then actively made things worse while ignoring what I said.This place is not equipped to deal with real emergencies. Do not trust them. Go to VCA Aurora."

"Earlier this week, our dog Bear (an 11year old Australian Shepherd) was having a medical emergency. After being turned away from our current vet, Dr. Sunny didn’t hesitate to squeeze our pup into his schedule knowing we weren’t current clients. We thought we were going to lose Bear. But, Dr. Sunny took charge and was able to get a speedy diagnosis to save his life. Bear went from not eating, not moving, and labored breathing to two days later, eating, getting more energy, and breathing better. Dr. Sunny was professional, confident, caring, and compassionate. Definitely the whole package! He is absolutely amazing and we are forever thankful. We look forward to him treating all of our pups in the future. "My elderly cat had a stroke and it was a Saturday. No one else was open or had any openings in order for me to have her put down. They have exceptional hours and were extremely nice and understanding. I was able to get her in, right away, due to her situation, so she didn't have to suffer any longer. I love this new discovery! They, also, never took her away from me, the entire time we were there, unlike other animal hospitals."

"Excellent experience. Our dog broke a tooth and he needed an emergency extraction. It was very challenging to find someone to see him quickly before it became a larger health issue. I think I called every vet I could find online within an hour from home. I had never heard of Bowes before, but they came recommended. They had never seen my dog before, but that did not matter. They got us in, performed surgery same day, extracted 3!!!! teeth and sent us home. I have confidence in the care that we received here and recommend them.
