"I went to this store to find a necklace for my wedding anniversary. Though they did not have what I was looking for, the shop owner assured me that he could make what I wanted. So I gave him the specs and asked to have it ready before my anniversary (a couple of weeks out). He called me two days before my anniversary and said it was ready. As soon as I laid eyes on it, I noticed that it was crooked. He eventually admitted that it was crooked and said he would fix it by the next day. Since I did not hear from him, I went back to the store the next day to pick it up and, though it was a little straighter, it was still crooked. Since I had already put a $460 deposit down on it and my only other option was to turn up to my anniversary empty-handed, I had to pay him an additional $460 to take this crooked piece of jewelry home to my wife. When I asked for a discount, he laughed and said he had upgraded the diamonds. No idea if that is true and don't know why he would have unless he knew he was selling me an inferior, crooked piece. Regardless, I paid almost $1,000 for a crooked pendant that I have to see every time my wife wears it."
