"Theft is happening at this location. Be very careful going here. Do not leave any wallets, computers, or keys in your locker. My wallet and keys were stolen. My keys were nicely placed into another members locker (luckily this member turned it in to the front desk). My wallet was not so lucky... My cards have been tried at multiple places hours after this incident. Be careful going to this location. Something very shady is going on. I have friends who have had their wallets cleaned out of cash at this specific location. Disappointing experience as this lifetime has been a great location till now."
"Enjoyed working out at this gym in past but trainers makes me feel uneasy working out at this location. It seems they are always watching people and trying to catch people doing something wrong. The TV channels used be diversely spread out from local news, CNN to lifetime and so on but suddenly a policy was placed that all tv numbering nearing 80-100 been only showing espn and lifetime commercials. No more news or any other channels for unknown reasons. The complaint made via emails or phone does no good by blaming corporate office being decision maker in Minnesota. This gym is going down fast."
"I feel like the quality has gone down in the past year. i go here multiple times a week, every single week. Unfortunately, it seems management has chosen to given less and less attention to the actual state of the gym. It's consistently dirty (not entirely staff's fault, as people tend to not wipe down as often as they should). And every few weeks there will be a new machine broken with no intent to fix it. There are currently about 6 treadmills that have the sign "this equipment is under repair. it will be operational by ____." with no date and have had that sign there for 2 months now. People pay way too much to go here for them to just not care about fixing machines. now, another machine is broken (one of the stretch machines) and who knows when that will be fixed. it just makes me sad that they take care of everything else but the most important, their machines, aren't taken care of efficiently. multiple Stairmaster machines don't work either, their screens are broken and either dont turn on or are permanently frozen and theres about 4 that dont work either. Especially the women's hot tub, it barely is open anymore and is constantly "under repair". when is anything going to get fixed ?"
"Those who won’t join or post bad reviews because of the price, they are doing just fine without you. It’s almost always busy and at the same time I have never had a problem getting a workout in. One note though, Google says this location has a swimming pool, but it does not. Greenway and City Centre have the best pools in Houston, for both working out and lounging. This location does have a cold plunge which makes you feel amazing."
"This was an ok gym before they got rid of all the low impact cardio machines. I came in today and all the recumbent bikes and elliptical machines aside from 4 are gone! Meanwhile there are 10000 stair climbers and treadmills empty... this is super disappointing, if they want to add more weight lifting are fine, but have an even distribution of low impact cardio equipment for those that come here for that. Might as well use my apt gym now and cancel my membership... ridiculous smh also they close at 10pm (530pm on weekends) and kick you out immediately at 930 from the locker room which is crazy since all the other locations are open until midnight. For over $200 a month that’s unacceptable and makes other gyms in the area a better alternative."
