"Terrible Service with an Attitude! My first conversation with this gentleman was horrible. The initial call he starts to tell me what I don't want and need. His whole attitude was sour. I'm trying to get a few estimates so I can make an informed decision,so, against my gut, I set a time for this gentleman to come. He does arrive on time, (that's why I gave the review 1 star) but his attitude when he saw me was very unprofessional. He asked ridiculous questions like "have you got quotes yet?" I told him "yes" and he immediately snapped back and said "well that isn't gonna work because..." and rambled on about the variance of quotes. At this point I sensed he really didn't want my business. I asked him to follow me back to the front of my house and I shook his hand and dismissed him. VERY SNOBBY AND UNPROFESSIONAL. There are many companies out here who will treat you with respect and are friendly. SUPERIOR OUTDOOR DESIGNS WASN'T THAT WITH ME."

"I had this company build my 20x14 feet deck in 2019. The owner Ryan Sultenfuss and his employee Robert Steele agreed to place the post in the ground 18”. To sum up the project in a few words I was scammed out of $21,041. There are 13 posts with 13 bags of concrete in a 12” hole supporting my 20x14 deck which should have been 39 bags. I sued in an arbitration hearing and won in 2022. Guess what? Ryan stated he wasn’t obligated to dig 18” which is the requirement on the concrete bag and stated this from his mouth. Be aware it (18“) wasn’t listed in the contract which allowed him to deceive me. Yes he had help with the subcontractor (Hector). He refused to pay damages over $15k. I sued again (3 times) at the small claims court and won again. He manipulated and lied to 3 judges stating he wrote and sent a check for $15k which is a lied. I filed Writ of Execution and he stated he gave the Deputy $3000 and promised to pay me $1,000 each month. Again he lied. I been fighting this case since 2019. As an Army Veteran I trusted this owner. If you want your dream deck built substandard where the owner will cut corners, this is the company to hire. I have a deck with no joist hangers to support weight. The structural engineer found 9 major deficiencies. My deck is shifting, loose and not safe to use. I only walked on my deck less than 25 since it was built in 2019 due to not holding load bearing weight. I will see him in court again for the 5th time. That’s Ryan kneeling next to the 12 inch hole with 1 bag of concrete."

"Fantastic experience the entire project. Communication was top notch: they called everyday explaining what part of the project they were going to work on. Nikki was so helpful with scheduling everything. They came out a day after the HOA approved and dropped off materials and even started the project that day."

"Edit: Gave Superior a second chance, had them come out and build the patio after all. The work is fantastic and was all completed in just a few hours by Ron. Still waiting on the roofing, but has been a much better experience and much better communication thus far. Should have read reviews before having them come out. It’s been two weeks since representative came out to quote us a price and draw up preliminary paperwork to start the process. Agreed to do business with them with the notion that they were “different than everyone else” and that they will be “communicative and hands on” through the whole process. Well after waiting two weeks to get the next steps started and multiple attempts to reach them, with no response. I do not feel secure giving them money and then not completing the work or not finishing what they promised."

"DO NOT USE!!!!! DO NOT TRUST JOSH (office manager) OR RYAN (owner/ceo)To many issues to complain about! But here are a few: Company was slow to start work after dropping off materials at our house. 1 guy installed 90% of our patio structure, numerous times no one showed up and we had to keep calling the office to find out if they would even work that day. We were told the project would take a few days but took over two months and we are still waiting for repairs even though we did final payment.Took the roofing department 3 times to fix the leaks in the roof ( took me 2 weeks of calling to get it done right). HUGE disconnect between the employees in the field and the person on the phone. When the structure was complete Ryan did a final walk through, we had so many nails left behind that it filled up half a solo cup!! Ryan and I both picked up nails until we felt it was safe for my kids to play outside again, he said someone will come back with metal detector but no one did. Once we paid the final bill it was hard to get anyone to come back out. It has been over a month and we are still waiting for Ryan to come out a fix missing nails, screw sticking out, and gaps in the structure. They will answer the phone and sometimes your email but they WILL NOT fix the issues. We will post on google, yelp, and send a complaint to the BBB"
