"The best"
"I can’t thank Scott and Cindi- and the rest of the crew at Leisure Living Pools - for getting my pool completed so quickly. After going through TWO other contractors who left my pool halfway finished (and then going MIA), Scott assured me they would be able to get the job done. Not only did he complete the job, he did it much quicker than anticipated, which far exceeded my expectations. Scott and Cindi- thank you so much for saving my backyard, and my sanity!! You are truly life savors. -Lori Vaisipour"
"We had Leisure Living Pool remodel our pool exactly 4 years ago. It would have been a nearly flawless experience, if it wasn’t for the terrible masonry job. We chose this builder even though they were the most expensive bid, assuming that the quality of the work would be commensurable. Scott seemed very open, nice, and professional. They also were one of the very few builders who were licensed by Pebbletec in the area. Leisure Living Pools did the new plaster, tile, and reset all flagstone coping around the pool. The project took a while, but everything went smoothly with a few insignificant hiccups that were rectified promptly. All was well until about a year later when most of the grout lines in between coping stones developed cracks; significant (1/16” and larger) horizontal cracks also appeared between coping and tile along the entire pool. A few months later, some coping stones popped from the deck. I reported the problem to Scott, he came out to check the problem, and his excuse was that the pool must be shifting. I pointed out that some of the stones that popped weren’t even attached to the deck, and the mastic is there to absorb pool shell movement anyway. He sent out some masons who reattached the stones and patched up some of the grout lines. About a year later, the cracks came back and one of the reseated stones popped again. I contacted Leisure Living Pool for a repair quote, thinking that they may do a better job if they get paid again. They promised to send a quote in a few days, and never did. I had someone else fix the stone, and they pointed out that the old mortar didn’t stick to the pool beam at all — likely a bad mix or a poorly cleaned surface. Ever since, I kept repairing the cracking grout lines and separating mastic here and there. On the latest repair, the following issues were discovered when opening up mastic behind a few coping stones: 1. When Leisure Living Pool’s masons attached the coping, the mortar spilled into the gap with the deck, forming a rigid bond in many spots. Every time the pool shell moves a little, it bumps into the deck and makes coping separate. This effectively defeats the purpose of the mastic. 2. After a knock test, most of the coping stones exhibit hollow sound, indicating separation from the beam. This may have been a bad mortar mix or poor mason’s craftsmanship. 3. The grout they used in between the coping stones was either old or poorly mixed, since it easily separates into sand deeper down. Basically, most of that grout is crumbling below the surface, and you can literally break it up with your fingers — hence the cracks. At this point, I pretty much have to remove the coping, clean up the gap between the deck and pool beam from the excess mortar, put the coping back in, and re-do the mastic. No one could believe that this pool was only remodeled 4 years ago. Would not recommend this company."
"They build a quality pool that is made to last. We were very pleased with the professionalism and the transparency of what was needed to ensure long term reliability. They were not the lowest price quoted, but we clearly understood why they were more and the quality that went into it. Quality equipment provided as well. Eye happy with the overall product that came out exactly the way the rendering showed us."
"Can't recommend Leisure Living Pools enough. We had never built a pool before. Everything they did was 1st class. Our backyard was a sad afterthought. Once Leisure Living Pools did their thing, it was an oasis. Highly recommended."
