"The fur and dandruff in the carpet is effecting my allergies. I have not been able to sleep in the bedroom since the first night I arrived. It is a hassle for me because I have to remove the bed dresser and desk for the carpet to be removed. Cleaning it and vacuuming it is no help. This is something that should have been done before I moved in. I insist that it be done right away because it is a health issue for me. I have been suffering ( since the 14th of December) and am forced to sleep in the kitchen. I have also contacted the management office about the issue. It is unfortunate TLC Management does not have an email address where tenants can contact them directly. Perhaps then things could be addressed in a timely manner. I have been sleeping in my kitchen and dealing with chest congestion unable to breathe properly and unpack the rest of my things."
"It's been one thing after another with this company and it's museum walks property. My bike was stolen out of the bike room a room that's locked and needs a key from residents or employees to get in. The management team at this property have been giving me the run around for going on two weeks now, that bike was not a cheap bike it was a $700 bike. I'm starting to suspect that one of them had something to do with stealing it, because it should not take this long for them to review the camera footage, everything about them is shady. And I'm starting to think are they trying to wait out the time for the footage to be deleted? Because what other reason would they have to keep giving me the run-around on reviewing the footage?"
"The peaple i worked with was crazy ..and the mangers dont beleave in buying supplys to keep the proporty clean and up to city codes...and dont beleave that its city law to update all smoke alarms ...and evey unit has a gas stove..so its clear thy dont care alot anyones life ..and the basment,s are full of bugs ..i had to get the hell out of that property!!! The propertys maitenance manager wood come in smelling like like she was just down the street,.at the bar ! .Its not the kind of place i wood like to be at ! ..and the propertys ASST Manger ..just have old and out dated ways ! and warning !!! You cant park on the same block of 6104 s woodlawn...and thats the propery im talking about...Beware !"
"I always say "never wash your dirty laundry in public." However, after numeral requests to receive a refund as I overpaid my rent, I still have not seen a cent of that $$. I moved out of Times Square Apartments on January 22, 2023. Today is May 1, 2023. 3 months and half later, after numerus calls, voice message and promises by management at Times Square Apartments, I did not receive a check or refund. I understand that due to under-staffing some matters can take longer than anticipated, but not 3 months. Update: After more than a month of them promising they will reach out to me, I have not received any correspondence from anyone."
"A couple months ago I complained to management and a woman who lives in my building but spends most of her time sitting in the lobby. This tenant has berated, belittled and harassed me in my lobby while management is there. Management tells me to just ignore the other tenant but I should not have to ignore someone. If I were doing the same thing they wouldn't be dismissive. I told the building manager I was thinking of calling the police the area manager came and asked me to the office where I was told that I can call the police but if I do that tenant and I will not be ask to stay. I feel like I was threatened by the management if I reported the problem to police because they were doing nothing. Management won't give me the tenants full name or apartment number. Management told me if I say something to the manager that I won't be asked to renew my lease when it comes up. I had words put in my mouth during their so called documentation and I'm sure they didn't document everything the way they said things. I've been here 4 months and this is ridiculous."
