"Dr. McIntosh corrected a Shoulder Surgery I had done which was botched by the original Orthopaedic Surgeon who had incorrectly reattached the ligaments, tendons and muscles. When I went into Physical Therapy following the surgery, it essentially tore apart everything inside of my shoulder and caused incredible amounts of pain and weakness (I still couldn't even lift a 3 pound dumbell) continually for almost two months. I decided to get a second opinion and I choose Dr. McIntosh. When I explained my situation to him, he immediately told me to stop therapy and scheduled an MRI for me the following morning. The results clearly showed the damage caused by the first surgery and the therapy that had followed. The internal tearing in my shoulder along with the shredded muscles and tendons had caused severe damage throughout the joint and large amounts of scar tissue to form. Dr. McIntosh performed his first surgery on me that same week arthroscopically in order to reattach everything in my shoulder correctly and to remove all of the scar tissue. I spent 2 months in Therapy and then I had to wait an additional 10 months to allow my shoulder to heal enough so he could perform the main surgery. My family was told it would be approximately 90 minutes to complete the surgery. Dr. Mcintosh came out a little over 3 hours later and explained it had taken so long because "It was the most substantial Shoulder Reconstruction I have ever performed". Dr. McIntosh has previously served as the Orthopaedic Surgeon for the Seattle Supersonics of the NBA, and in the same role for the University of Kansas Jayhawks Women's Volleyball Team demonstrating the immense amount of damage and the challenge he faced in repairing it. Now, thanks to Dr. McIntosh, I have a fully functioning and pain-free shoulder which is an amazing result that I would not have believed possible before Dr. McIntosh Dr McIntosh is not only a dedicated, experienced and brilliant Surgeon, he is also an extremely intelligent, personable, funny, engaging, professional and friendly man who is a truly good person at heart. I recommended him to my Mother and he has replaced one of her hips and one of her knees since then. He has also performed Surgeries on several other of my family members. I have learned that Shoulder Surgery is a hard procedure to master and most patients continue to have problems which cause additional surgeries in the future. But Not DR. McIntosh's patients! So if you are contemplating having it done to you please see Dr. McIntosh. You will be as thankful and as grateful as I am today. Thanks Dr. Mac!"
"Dr. Mc Entire. Is a joke. He picks and Chooses who he wants to see. Will set up appointment. Make you wait. Look over insurance. Not even see you after a 30 + minute wait. Then has gall enough to bill Medicare. Wont recommend to anyone. Will let Medicare know also"
"Doctor McIntosh awsome he genuinely cares for patient great with the kids to they love seeing him during my visits."
"So he lost his license to practice In indiana because he couldn't go in unless he was drunk, he messed my mother's knee surgery up because he was drunk doing surgeries in lafayette indiana at Greenbush offices, so my mother can't walk without pain and dr. McIntosh is to blame. How he can practice anywhere when his license was pulled in indiana! He shouldn't be able to practice or operate on anyone! The board has their priorities messed up. If a license is pulled in one state, it should be pulled altogether and shouldn't be able to work anywhere! Good luck patients!"
"Dr. McIntosh was the best decision I made for my shoulder surgery! Nothing but the best from him! I now a year later stronger than ever! Words could never say how much I can thank you Dr. Mcintosh!"
