"Dr. Salama was knowledgeable, effective, and compassionate, all the things that make for a caring physician. His assistant was helpful, courteous, and friendly. I went in with a minor laceration and was in and out within an hour."
"Let me start by saying Dr. Salama is an excellent doctor. However, he has seems to have issues hiring professional staff or keep a phone system working. Over the years poor staff continue to bring the practice down. The phone goes unanswered, calls are not returned in a timely manner or not at all, tests the DOCTOR ORDERED or not uploaded or the doctor informed of the results for follow-up, chewing gum in your ear on the phone & getting upset when you ask them not to (not only is it rude, it's unprofessional) blowing off patient questions & concerns to bring to the doctor like it's no big deal, the list goes on. I continued seeing Dr. Salama because of his general care, concern & openness. However, will now be moving on. In the future I hope he puts a little more care & concern into training his staff or hiring people who understand professionalism on the job is an EXPECTATION not a suggestion."
"Go anywhere else. Literally anywhere else. I stopped going in 2018 due to issues with the staff not being professional and not being able to assist or respond in a timely manner. Due to time constraints and not being able to get into my current Dr. I reached out to family member to get an appointment for me since I couldn’t call during business hours. My family has still been coming despite the issues with staff because they really like Dr. Salama and I really needed to see someone in person. I show up to my appointment today 25 minutes early. I wait until 1:30pm to call per the lunch period and the sign on the door. I am on hold trying to reach someone so I can go into the office for 15 minutes. Upon finally reaching someone, she advises that she can’t find my appointment. I approve all the information I have and ask if I reach out to the person who made the appointment, am I going to be on hold for another 15 minutes. She has no idea. I call the person who made the appointment and they call the office as I continue waiting. While I’m waiting, Dr. Salama comes out and say that he “he cant have people upsetting her that way.” I say I only asked her a couple of questions and before I can say anything else he cuts me off and says “it doesn’t matter the questions I can’t have people upsetting her this way I’m not doing this” and walks away. No knowledge of why I was there in the first place, no account of what happened or the actual issue. So now, at the last minutes I get to try and find another appointment for major chronic illness symptoms I have."
"I went in for a sinus infection and was in and out within an hour. I know there are reviews that mention long waits when no one appears to be there but honestly I don’t think these people have ever been to an urgent care before! Typically, UCs have very long waits and SLMP was much faster for me. Their online check in questionnaire is long but it asked all the pertinent medical questions needed for care. I think now that I’m on file the next visit will be easier. Dr. Salama was very kind, listened to me, and gave meds with no issues. Personally this is faster and easier than a TACU or Mercy UC Center with equivalent care!"
"Doctor Salma is amazing and so are his staff. They work quickly to get you back diagnosed and on your way. They are compassionate and my whole Family has used this facility. Doctor Salama was instrumental in getting my daughters treatment plan and diagnoses and I am happy to report since her last visit there have been zero emergency room visits for inability to breathe. She had severe allergies and he put in touch with the right Doctor. He also helped me last week when I was sick and traveling the next day for an important meeting through the right medications he made that all possible. Thank Dr and your team. I would recommend you all to everyone"
