I think we're all looking for doctors who fit us and make us feel comfortable. She fits me well. If she didn't, I would find one who did. That's how it works."

She is very friendly and makes sure you ask every question you may have and really explains things to you. ""Disappointed with Management" I have been a patient at the Illinois Dermatology Institute Oak Park office c/o PA-C Nick Borchers, and I must express my deep disappointment with their recent management decisions. It has become increasingly clear that the individuals running the operations have a lack of competency, making decisions that adversely impact both the staff and patients. The recent termination of one of their best providers is a prime example of this issue. Their loss is keenly felt, as they brought a level of knowledge, professionalism, and care to the institute that is now missing. This decision has actually left me questioning the institute's commitment to providing the best possible care to their patients. Regrettably, I cannot recommend their services until there are significant improvements in the management and decision-making processes.."

"Dr. O’Brien and her assistant were great. However, the front staff/receptionists are rude and lack interpersonal skills. When I checked in and out the receptionists were not friendly and looked mean and miserable the whole time. Then when I left about 30 minutes later, I called to see when my prescription was going to be sent over to the pharmacy and the receptionist said “you just seen her…” with an attitude. A very unprofessional, mean, and rude receptionist that needs to check her attitude and the way she speaks to and interacts with patients."
