"We have had experiences with the SSM Day Institute-Kirkwood with two of our family members. The first time was years ago with my mother-in-law after a major stroke at 80 years old. They did an amazing job of helping her get back what she could. Now my younger sister is there after a stroke at a younger age. She has been there for a week and she feels improvement in areas that she thought wouldn’t come back that quick. They are giving her hope and helping her get through it all. The people are very friendly and helpful. She comes home tired but she says it is a good tiredness. We would recommend this program if you are needing rehabilitation services."
