Eileen worked with her on piccolo as well, culminating in giving her the confidence to perform the solo in Stars and Stripes Forever in her final high school concert. She has since gone on to be chosen for her Big Ten college marching band. Not only is Eileen skilled in passing on her musical talents and enthusiasm, she also includes her students in special performances and activities. These were wonderful at further building our daughter's confidence, while teaching team work and leadership skills. In sort, Eileen is an inspiring teacher with great results and is a delight to work with."

"I studied under Mrs. Heise for 9 years, from 4th grade until I graduated high school. Having gone through Glenn Westlake and Glenbard East, there was very high expectations being a member of the band. Mrs. Heise always had me prepared for auditions and helped with any music I found difficult. Also, being very active throughout all the years I took lessons, she would always find a time we could meet that works for both of us. Over the 9 years we had numerous concerts at different venues. I believe this gave me a lot more confidence in my playing and performing in front of large groups."

She was a joy to work and made the entire process so easy from helping us pick the perfect music to planning out when and where she should be playing.
