"When it rains they put my packages not up by my door but right on the edge of the porch to get wet. Only once has that not happen and I have a lot of packages coming in. Now I have been waiting for something that said delivered and I get the parcel key out of my mailbox and nothing is in the parcel. Auto system takes you through so much and I finally got someone on the phn who helped but I still don't have my package and the post office is closed today for Veterans day. I am very upset about this situation. I understand staff shortages because I work in healthcare but if you have a job to do, do it right and don't rush! When you rush mistakes can be made. I'm hoping my package is in another parcel but I need it asap which is why I ordered it when and how I ordered it. Very disappointed with their service and gave 3 stars for customer service and the 1 mail deliverer that didn't leave my packages in the rain."

"Very nice postal office. Ladies explained everything to me and helped to organize envelopes with postal stamps. I was absolute dummy and didn't know anything about how to place proper address, proper stamps etc. I didn't wait for a long time in the line. I recommend this office to everyone."
"Went into the post office 2/8/19 to buy a money order and mail a package waited exactly 30 min. I know this because I have an hour lunch and was watching the time, if this employee would have stopped complaining to the customers ahead of me I could have been in and out in less than 10 min. Im sure. As I approached the counter there was no welcome at all. The lady that was there her name was Sharon , anyhow the attitude that was given to me was just appalling there was no kindness and she kept on complaining about how she didn’t want to be there and couldn’t wait to go home. I stayed respectful just because that’s just me, after her little attitude towards her job was done she told me to go on here and say what I thought of my experience. Well here I am letting the google world know that I will never return to this post office again. First off Sharon I truly believe that the post office is not the right job for you dear. When an employee complains about there job the way this lady did there is a problem. You should know by now at your age if your not happy with your job “Find Another”, also paying customers such as I am do not care to hear your disgruntled problems!!!"
"Welcome to the U.S. Post Office you see on Saturday Night Live or depicted in movies. Every front-counter worker here that I've dealt with is typically slow, lazy, and borderline rude with the cocky attitude that you are at their mercy. While I had continued to go there and just put up with it, this latest incident has me determined never to go to Avondale branch post office again. I intentionally purchased PREPAID postage from PayPal after weighing my package on a digital scale at home and had the package ready to go. This is what the USPS advertises for "quick and easy service". (That is b.s.) You'll still have to face Rude Robert or Rambling Rita at the counter. They re-weighed my package and said it weighed six ounces more than I had on the prepaid label. My package was still between 2 and 3 pounds for USParcel Select...same price for any package between 2 and 3 pounds. But they would not accept it and told me I had to take it back home, remove & void the label, wait for refund 15 days on that label, print and affix new label with proper weight...all this even though the price did not change one penny. Counter idiot tried to blame it on her computer system by saying "it asks me if the weight is correct and if I say no it won't let me send it". I found this to be a bold lie because when I purchased my new label, I intentionally put the maximum 3 pounds on the label even though the package weighed 2lbs 11 ounces. She accepted it....so the "computer" allowed her to send it even though the weight was again wrong (too high)....and again the price was the same both times. I'm sure she has worked there 100 years, but she doesn't know the Parcel Select pricing and weight rules nor does she have ANY independent thought that the price wouldn't change and I had properly paid the postage the first time and the second time and she should've just answered the computer question with "yes" because the weight fell between the limits. Instead, she acts like she is a slave-monkey to her computer system and the wonderful USPS. I fully understand why no one likes the post office...talk about a time-waster...especially at Avondale where monkeys just do what monkeys see on computer screens and nothing more. The saddest part is she probably has one hell of a pension plan just for giving people grief all day and wearing out your last nerve. I'm done with that branch. The US Postmaster could cut this branch and come out ahead."
