"Horrible bus Company! They do not care about your children’s safety at all! Half the time the bus driver never shows up leaving your children standing outside and you would think they would make sure all assigned children are on the bus but they do NOT! They will just leave them! Then when you call them to find out why they take ZERO RESPONSIBILITY and never give you any reasoning whatsoever!"

"Manager Dan has really put a toll on lakeside and is really inconsiderate and inconsistent and their “seniority” has gone out the window so their is no longer a chance to get a route with good hours. They opened back up Libertyville base and cut all the routes to minimum hours and expect you to ride a shuttle if you want to do a Libertyville route and not pay you your driver rate. No thank you. After 8 years I’m basically being pushed away without anyone even caring that I left. Who can survive on only 4 hours a day with todays prices and everything going up? Not to mention the times I was ripped off and not paid correctly. what was once a great company to work for , it is really sad how they treat their drivers ..if I was you I would apply elsewhere"

"Lakeside transportation is a wonderful transportation company to work for. They specialize in student transportation also charters. I've been driving for them for almost 18 years. Have a wonderful group of people that I've met over the years of being here. Lakeside has grown so much they now have three locations in the Lake County area. That would be location one in Waukegan location number two Mundelein off of Washington, location number three Innovation Park just follow the signs we are hiring. If you don't have a CDL we can help you with attaining a CDL if you don't have a felony background. "From what I saw today 4-25-23 at about 1:30 I would be scared to let my kids on lakeside busses. I was s on 41 just past Delaney rd going 53 and still picking up speed. Speed limit is 45. Two buses 1995 & I believe 1913 or 1813 passed me so fast, they were going well over 60 it’s like they were racing each other going from lane to lane. Then after that another bus a little further down #2034. Speed limit is 55 I was doing 63 and 2034 also passed me like I was standing still. So if they drive like this with kids, be careful with lake side bus"
