Rock Hollow Conservation Club

Rock Hollow Conservation Club, located at 1891 Illinois 75 in Freeport, Illinois, is Northern Illinois' premiere family multi-season hunt-camp-fish club. We offer group and individual pheasant hunts from now through mid-March 2023, with a mix of bird bag limit available for $145 per individual hunt without membership.

We are currently seeking experienced dog handlers for our hunting events and trips, offering a great part-time career opportunity. If you have a well-trained gun dog, can work weekends and special events, and are reliable and flexible, you may qualify for this position. There are possibilities of international trips to destinations such as Argentina and Africa, with hourly rates ranging from $50-$75 based on your and your dog's experience. Apprenticeships are also available for those who have started training their gun dogs.

In addition to hunting opportunities, we also offer fishing along the Pecatonica River leading to the Sugar River, where you can catch Northern Pike, Muskie, Flat Head Catfish, and even "dinosaurs" (Turtles) for the kids. Our members enjoy target fun shooting and camping by the river.

The Rock Hollow Dogs have a lineage that spans generations, ensuring top-notch hunting experiences for our members. Pheasants at our club are known for their fast flight speeds of around 40MPH, making for an exhilarating hunting experience. We also offer English-style driven shoots for those who want to experience the thrill of wing-shooting.
