With bike camp continuing the next day, I had to find a place to fix the tire fast. George Garner Cyclery in Libertyville, was the shop for the task! The tire was fixed in about 20 minutes. "Recently moved into the area and I had a bike that’s been sitting for about 5 years unused that I wanted to get tuned up. The tech looked at the bike immediately and determined the bike didn’t need anything but air in the tires, and didn’t charge me anything (I ended up buying a new kickstand, otherwise I wouldn’t have ended up paying anything). Businesses that are honest and don’t oversell unnecessary services are rare these days, goes a long way towards building trust and I’ll definitely be back to them for all my cycling needs."

"I used this rental once, my friend from Libertyville has recommended them. I’ve got a really good hybrid bike for $30 a day. On the negative side, 15-20 minutes wait on Saturday, you cannot book the bike online a day before, you should call, and they start at 10 am, which is a bit late for a weekend. Also, you need to return a bike before 5pm and they don’t work on Sunday. However, the personnel is very nice and I could get an agreement to return a bike a bit later as I couldn’t make it before 5pm, was to far."
