It was in decent shape, but Taro made it like new, off the production line. He stripped off obsolete electric components, tuned it up, made it safe, and cleaned and polished the entire bicycle. "I have an old bike that really needed drastic TLC. I hesitated going to a premium bike shop because I thought I wouldn't be taken seriously. Fortuitously, I happened on RLB Cycleworks off Park Ave. I met Taro who was warm and friendly. We chatted as I looked at some refurbished bikes he had for sale (the prices definitely fit my budget!). Taro encouraged me to bring in my old bike so he could evaluate it. Long story short, Taro tuned-up and repaired my bike and he turned it around within a couple days (I think he must have put in some o.t. to help me out). I have my wheels back and my first ride made my heart very happy! So if you need a bike tune-up or repair, I highly recommend RLB Cycleworks. Good prices, good work, and friendly service.
