"I recently contacted dr.Kovar’s office in hopes of finding a new healthcare provider for my child. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon speaking with Annie, the office manager, I was informed that they are not accepting any new HMO patients. Additionally, new PPO patients are only considered if they are either referred by an existing patient or have a newborn. This policy was communicated in a manner that I found to be quite blunt and unwelcoming. While I understand the importance of a medical practice wanting to prioritize current patients to provide the best possible care, the approach taken by the staff, particularly in communication, left much to be desired. The conversation was terse, and the overall tone was rather rude. This kind of interaction does not instill confidence in the quality of care and empathy one would expect from a pediatrician's office. It's disheartening when a medical office, especially one catering to children, shows reluctance to assist potential new patients who are in need of care. It's a missed opportunity to extend their professional support and expertise to more families. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this office. The lack of willingness to help and the unprofessional communication style were major deterrents for me."

"I can’t recommend Dr. Kovar enough. I have lived in Plainfield for many years, and have been to several pediatricians in the area, but I have never seen such great dedication to a patient before. The Doctor even took the time out to call me at work to discuss my son’s behavioral and medical concerns. Very, very awesome doctor. Most importantly, a very nice person! Thank you."

"Kids First is wonderful!! We love it there. The staff and Drs. are all so very nice. We love them all. We are always seen promptly when we have an appointment. Whenever my daughter has been sick they can see her same day. If I've had to call in to ask a question (which happens a lot with a baby!) they get right back to me. So happy I chose them for our pediatrician."
