"I’ve been taking my girls to kids first since 2017 and I could not ask for a better clinic. I wholeheartedly trust the doctors and staff at this office. Dr Kovar has a great, silly bedside manner that puts my girls at ease. And Dr Ciszek has a such a warmth and kindness that is terrific. They are so accommodating for sick visits. They have some late and weekend hours that help as a working mom. They have always gone above and beyond not only for my girls but for me. When I was a new mom and dealing with baby blues the office manager Annie gave me so much comfort and validation, and I have held her dear to me ever since. The understanding and compassion of the whole office, even through challenges of the pandemic and staffing issues has never been sacrificed. I would truly recommend this pediatric office to anyone looking."

"The medical staff is great, but the office manager will cancel appointments last minute (including infant vaccines) if your insurance is processing a payment, even if you have no other balance. There is no flexibility even if your insurance calls and assures them you have coverage and they are processing the payment. Your child's health is definitely not a priority."

"Hands down the best Dr’s office I have been to. Dr Kovar, Dr Liberty, Taryn and Ashley are all very attentive. We always leave feeling like all our concerns were addressed and questions were answered. I wish I could have them as my PCP."

"Currently self-pay so there was a debt on our account for our second born. I started a payment plan over the phone before proceeding to schedule my son’s 2 month appointment for the following week. Lady over the phone made it seem like we were squared away due to the payment plan. Well, I drove 30 minutes to the appointment with my newborn and toddler, to find out that they refused to see my son until my balance was paid in FULL. That’s not what I heard over the phone in the slightest. Miscommunication #1. Then, because we don’t have my son’s 2 month appointment on record, this office proceeded to report me to DCFS for medical neglect. YOU GUYS DENIED MY SON PROPER CARE. I SHOWED UP. Miscommunication #2 or just being plain cruel? I received no phone calls from the pediatrician expressing any concern for us. I feel embarrassed and humiliated on top of my roller coaster postpartum depression. I am never bringing my children here again. We had such a great experience with our first son so this really sucks for us. I loved this pediatrician. Perhaps change your name to Money First because CLEARLY my child does not come first. It should really tell you something when your highest reviews are from years ago and your worst ones are the most recent. Something isn’t right with this office."
