"Caring staff and doctors feel safe there I'm in good hands"
"Can't say enough good things about Dr. Gustafson, the dietitian who treated my dad, and the staff who assisted with his chemo and radiation. However, the staff who is in charge of making/returning phone calls are terrible. More times than not, we were told we would get a call back and never received it. On many occasions, after waiting a week for a phone call we were told we'd get, we'd have to make the call. We've tried making appointments with the doctor and the staff refused to set them up. When my dad needed to be referred to a surgeon, the staff refused to assist with finding a doctor on my dad's network. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that part of their JOB? After complaining to the manager we received a call that a certain surgeon would be calling us to make an appointment. Appointment was made. Showed up for appointment and it was at that time we were told this surgeon, who JOHA referred us to, does not do the type of surgery my dad would need. I'm sorry, but that is absolutely unacceptable. This is life or death. And the staff member who called to tell us this surgeon would be calling was EXTREMELY unprofessional. I'm convinced she saw this doctor's name in my dad's records and just threw his name out there. So, if you are being treated here, be aware that you will need to be your own advocate and will likely have to do the jobs of some of the staff members there since they refuse to do it themselves."
"The individuals that work at this place are awesome, kind, gentle really thinking about it they possess the gifts of the Spirit and its shows in the actions, their customer service. May God continue to bless and provide increase to all that work at this place and walk through the doors for treatment."
"Dr Ellen Gustafson is amazing! The staff is superb! Lisa Ryan and all the chemotherapy and radiation staff go above and beyond anything you could ever imagine to make your entire journey as smooth as possible. From the moment you walk in you forget your there for treatment, it's as comfortable as the situation can be. Everyone treats you like your family and you know exactly what you can expect. They give above and beyond!"
