"In the beginning, my therapist was great, and while I feel like I did grow with her, the longer I saw her, the more the boundaries were blurred. I am a flexible person, so if my therapist need to change days, or was late to session, it did not usually bother me. But after awhile it became more frequent, and started to affect my treatment. There was one time I saw my therapist, I was left feeling distraught — we had started doing tele-health sessions because of COVID, and she was already about 10 min late, and when we started the session, she was soon interrupted by a personal matter, which left me waiting for another 15 minutes. When she came back we barely had 30 minutes for our session and I felt like what I wanted to talk about wasn’t really resolved. She also would frequently forget to add me on the schedule. I understand she was busy, but to forget about put me on the schedule, really often affected my treatment. At the end of our time together, we agreed to do a few more sessions before moving on to another therapist, that she said she’ll recommend for me. The day of our so called session, she text me and says she forgot to put me on her schedule. This was my last straw, leading me to not go back to her nor having a recommendation for another therapist. I now have a hard time looking for therapist, in fear this would happen to me again"
