"I have been going to Urban wellness for 5 months once a week. I missed my very first appointment due to scheduling incorrectly. I went to each and every appointment once a week and overslept for one appointment 5 months in. I was still able to meet, although it was 18 minutes late. I was informed I could still meet with my therapist but that I'd be getting charged a cancellation fee of $170. I expressed that things were tight financially and that I would not be able to attend therapy for a few weeks to be able to pay for that off. I was not met with any understanding.. I have never in my life been to a facility with such an outrageous cancelation fee. $170 IS UNHEARD OF!!! I had not missed a single appointment in MONTHS, but no ounce of empathy was given. You come here seeking help and you leave in financial burden in worse shape then when you come in. This place is just a money grab and does not care about its patient's wellbeing even as loyal customers. I work as a dental receptionist and have waived countless fees for patients because any good company understands that life happens and we all deserve a break every now and again. But not here. Don't bother even trying to get established with any therapist, because the second you run late, you won't be able to afford to come back."

"I finally decided to take control of my life and now have been seeing Amy the last year and a half. At first I was super nervous to finally reach out and find a therapist. I have had a few therapists throughout my life and all were picked by others besides myself and never felt understood or comfortable. It took me months before even calling to schedule my apt but I’m so glad I did. I chose Amy!!! She has been such an incredible force in helping me transform my life. She is so kind, intelligent, trustworthy and makes you really feel appreciated and challenges you to think outside of the box. Some sessions are easy and some are hard and she is present for every single one! She truly was meant to be in this line of work and I will forever be grateful to have had her in my life. Thank you so much for helping me on every realm of my life. You are the greatest! Side note. This entire practice is incredible and I have done mediation and yoga sessions via zoom with a few other therapist and they were all incredible and just such a passionate and loving energy. So many awesome therapists to choose from so don’t give up until you find the right match for YOU. Highly recommend this practice."

I have never had an easier process with more friendly and responsible counselors and staff who reply to questions right away.
