"They sent me a "FINAL NOTICE" for $7.00 after I had already made the payments on previous notices. When I tried to pay this last $7.00, the automated system accessed by the phone number provided to make payments would not recognize my Account Number / birthdate. It would not provide a method to speak with a representative, just continued asking for the number and birthdate. After looking up another number for North Houston Pathology Associates, I was told by the customer service agent that my provider must have entered my information incorrectly and to sort it out with them. I don't know which provider sent my bill to them, and when I asked she hung up on me."
"Had a procedure in August 2023. Nothing was filed with Insurance, No bill was sent until I receive Notice in November 2023 from a Collection Agency. When I tried to call North Houston Pathology to verify the Notice was legit, I got someone's voice mail on their cell phone. Maybe they are great pathologists, but this strikes me as rather Third World."
"Horrible service with billing, first bill I received as a final notice and nobody picks up the phone to explain what the charge is for. Take your business elsewhere!"
"Sourced-out their billing and collections to a third party who subsequently sent my payment to the wrong location. When I contacted the third party, the solution provided to me was "send another payment". Idiots."
"They charged me $250 to check my blood glucose. I do this for free every day. I did not ask for the procedure. I did not need the procedure. The charge is outrageous but I paid it in full anyway. Even so, they thought it would be a good business decision to sell my $36 balance to a debt collector because I paid the remaining balance a few days late due to their archaic payment system. They probably made a few dollars off of it. I hope this review was worth the few dollars."
