"Dr. Joe was extremely unprofessional and apathetic, neither of which a patient desires in their PCP. I came in having done research on what I felt was a hormone imbalance, gave her the list of symptoms and asked for a hormone test. (I never thought being informed and advocating for my health and the BODY I live in- would be met with such a negative response) her words: “you can’t come in here asking for what you want” all I asked for was a hormone panel test but because she felt my symptoms were too “broad” there was no imbalance… I’m not shocked. This is what medical has come down too, if they’re not being paid- you don’t have a problem. Well, I’m not waiting for a medical emergency. This is why there is no trust in doctors, also gossiping to the nursing assistants about our appointment right outside of the room I’m in…. You couldn’t have waited until I left? I could hear you, not a good look."

"I’ve done extensive research to find a black woman doctor and Dr. Joe came highly recommended however I was highly disappointed by my experience. I scheduled an appointment a week in advance and the night before, my 8:15am appointment was canceled last minute despite having to take off a day of work for nothing. I was rescheduled to the next day at 2:30pm and arrived on time however was told that Dr. Joe was running 45min behind schedule. I was informed that I’d have to pay before seeing Dr. Joe and used an HSA card that only covered a portion of the total costs. I asked if I could pay after I saw Dr. Joe or call to complete payment since my other card was left at home but the answer was no. Being that Dr. Joe was 45 min behind schedule, I ran home at 2:50pm to get my card and completed payment over the phone at 3:10pm. I returned to the office at 3:25pm and was told I could no longer be seen by Dr. Joe. I am completely disgusted by my experience and the lack of customer service and care provided, especially as a new patient. I have been inconvenienced back to back and when I asked for my payment to be voided, the receptionist gave me conflicting information and could not provide a receipt for the cancellation. I had to request written confirmation from a manager. Dr. Joe was running late yet booked for the rest of the day so how is it that I am the one to be inconvenienced? All y’all cared about was getting payment and not the fact that I need to see a doctor or how much of my time was wasted accommodating the office’s lack of management. I am wary of ever returning to this office and caution any other patient. This is supposed to be a place to seek care and I received absolutely none. Makes sense why this location has 2 stars."

"Pretty good experiences with Dr, Vajpayee and her PA in examination, but being told all of my blood tests should be covered by my insurance and then being surprised with MULTIPLE bills months later for specific blood tests I didn't even personally request in the first place is nothing short of a scam. Perhaps if blood tests weren't done through quest diagnostics it would be a better clinic, but I would highly advise against visiting this business due to the surprise billing. I refuse to pay for something I was not informed about prior, nor did I even request in the first place. I have never had this experience with any other doctor's office, and it's a shame I'll have to find yet another provider due to this horrible experience. Please if you care to not be scammed by your own doctors' office DO NOT GO HERE."

"Medical assistant fail to submit correct insurance name for lab order which resulted on a out of network bill, Quest lab staff fail to provide translation services to the patient and perform the wrong lab order which included test not needed. Now my mother has a balance with the lab of 1500. We contact the management team at this facility and have yet to receive a resolution for both their and qeist errors. Both parties continue to point fingers and not take responsibility for their poor communication and patient care services."

"This place is disorganized. The doctor was out for the holidays and I didn't receive a notice to reschedule or cancel. When I showed up, they let me know and I asked if anyone else could see me. They expected me to wait 2 hours before the next doctor could see me. The receptionist said "you can just hang out"."
