"We had the honor of capturing two weddings this year at Mercintile Hall. I've heard of it for years and finally got to visit! For starters, the staff is just wonderful. We worked with two different coordinators and they were both extremely on-point, attentive and helpful all day long. Both getting ready areas are great. Spacious and very functional. We did an inside and outside ceremony. Both spots were beautiful. They were a bit tight on space but it wasn't an issue. Portraits on-site and in the general vacinity are what really MC stand out as a photographer. Many, many, MANY colors and textures to work with. The dining and reception space is also wonderful and provided some of my favorite frist dance photos of the lady few years. Overall, I absolutely loved shooting at Mercintile Hall and look forward to shoot their a few times per year going forward! Brides to Be, I highly recommend making an appointment to take a tour!"

"My husband and I got married at Mercantile Hall in 2023 and it was the BEST decision we could have ever made. We knew from the minute we toured there, that it was going to be the place we would end up getting married. The Urb Garden is the most beautiful place to have the ceremony. The natural brick, greenery that grows along the wall, and the gorgeous black gate make for wonderful features. I HIGHLY recommend using one of their coordinators; Destiny made sure everything went smoothly. I had absolutely zero stress on the day of our wedding because I knew that everything would be taken care of and I could enjoy the day. I would use one of their coordinators a million times over! I also highly recommend the getting ready space upstairs. It's a beautiful space, cute furniture and other areas for photo opportunities, and just overall made the day easier. I cannot say enough good things about Mercantile Hall. Everyone knows that wedding days do have some hiccups. I will say there were 2 very small inconveniences. 1st was that there either was not enough chairs set up for the ceremony, or maybe there was JUST enough set up that some people couldn't find the empty seats; so a few people pulled up the metal chairs that were used for the outdoor sitting area for cocktail hour and sat in the very back. It kind of ruined our "dip and kiss in the aisle photo" because there were random metal chairs with people sitting in them and it looked bad, but overall not a huge deal. And 2nd was that the DJ was ehh. Couldn't get the right songs going for the vibe we wanted, didn't play our "must play" until we asked, and I had a special request set up in advance for a "private last dance" that was a surprise for my husband that I had to push for and it almost didn't happen despite it being set up ahead of time. Again, overall would 10000% recommend Mercantile Hall. I would have our wedding here again in a heartbeat. Wonderful people and staff, great experience!"

"We got married this September at Mercantile. I truly don't even know where to begin, but you MUST put this on your venue list to come see. I'm so thankful for The Knot for recommending Mercantile. As soon as I went to their Instagram, I was intrigued, and then their website. I immediately fell in love with Suzanna from the pictures! My first impressions of Mercantile started before we even went on our tour. They sent us a confirmation the day of and told us where to park. If that was any indication of how well their communication is, I was impressed. Destiny was our tour guide, and then we were able to have her as our day-of coordinator, which she was FANTASTIC at! Halfway through the tour, I knew this is where I could picture getting married! It's the perfect space for an intimate wedding! The communication throughout the year was phenomenal, and any questions I had for Destiny, she answered all of them in a timely manner! She was so helpful! I loved all of the add-on options as well, which I know they've expanded since we toured. I loved that they were upfront about the cost of things and payments throughout the year! I'm so glad we added on the Bridal Suite - it's stunning and such a great room to have the entire day! They were extremely accommodating and we were also able to have a full mocktail menu as well! Mercantile just really makes your life easier when it comes to planning a wedding! Our wedding still feels like a dream, and I cannot thank Mercantile enough for being so wonderful. Mercantile is a hidden gem! It was better than we could've ever imagined!"

"My husband and I got married in October of 2023 at Mercantile Hall. We LOVED the venue immediately after our first tour and knew we had to get married there. We adored our event manager/coordinator, Jess. She was always available no matter when we had a question and was so helpful, thoughtful and sweet throughout our entire wedding planning process. When she left on her own honeymoon she made sure to reach out well in advance and let us know who our backup contact person was. She set up our decor day of, and did the most wonderful job making my vision a reality. I highly recommend requesting her to be your coordinator. The rest of the staff at Mercantile were great to work with as well and we have heard nothing but great things from our guests. We had such an amazing experience and we cannot recommend Mercantile Hall enough to anyone thinking of using them as their venue. The only reason at all I took a star off was because of our DJ. He continued to pronounce our last name wrong, was pretty rude to me when I would ask a question or when I asked him to switch the mother/son dance song. He didn’t get our ceremony music quite right, and he did not make any announcements throughout the night to sign our guest book, use our audio guestbook, when the pizza arrived for a late night snack, etc. He also played two songs on my “absolutely do not play list” and screwed up our anniversary dance so badly everyone was so confused. Again we loved our experience at Mercantile, and recommend them as a venue - just be sure to really talk everything over with your DJ."

"Mercantile Hall made for the most magical and romantic wedding, even in the middle of winter. The venue was flexible and accommodating especially given it was a last minute wedding due to family health concerns. We loved having the ceremony and reception in one place with such ease. And again, I cant stress how accommodating the staff and venue was which helped make our wedding feel unique and so memorable. The venue was also conveniently located for our guests mainly residing in WI and IL, with a hotel, bars and restaurants within walking distance, making it a nice getaway for guests. Burlington is such a charming city and such a perfect wedding village with hair and makeup, caterers, bakery and more all in the area. We stayed at the beautiful Mart Apt which made getting ready, taking photos, and hosting friends and family so easy. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!"
