Reviews
"Dr. Kelley took her time with patients. After her retirement, I had to find a new doctor in the Methodist system. I am now treated like a number and conversations with my doctors feel like a conversation with politicians. Sound bites only. I miss Dr. Kelley's thorough nature and her obvious concern for patient's well-being. This is further proof of the adage that you don't know what you have until it is gone."
"Same experiences as Betsy. I do not recommend you have any dealing with this office Very hard to make any appointments or to get an responses from the office. I have left messages with answering service, used online email messaging, multiple times. 6 times in the last 2 weeks, with NO reply's. I have had multiple issues getting prescriptions renewed. Even when I was able to speak with someone, I followed their direction but was still not able to get them filled, even for minor things like blood test strip or replacement masks for my CPAP. When I was able to get back in touch with them (multiple phone calls, and messages, but not return phone calls), the were very rude and argumentative. I'm done. I shouldn't have put up with these issues for the last 5 years, as I too have mentioned it to the doctor in my visits over the past years. She just blows it off and sticks up for her staff that they are busy. Well then hire more staff, it your issue not theirs. She does have a clue on how to run a business and I believe does not care about the business part of it. They wanted to charge me $25 for the first 25 pages, plus addition $ for each additional page for a copy on my records, I asked why as these are MY records about ME. They said because BY LAW they are allowed to charge, so they are going to charge. As you can see ITS ALL ABOUT THEM and not the patient. I would image this would have cost me close to $100 or more. Told them they can keep the files (they have to hold these for 6 years after my death per HIPAA, enjoy the storage fees) and my new doctor can request any copies of records he might need."
"I had been going to her office for several years but recently she's been understaffed. I mentioned that it was hard to get in contact with someone in her office, and she showed no concern saying "well the phones are ringing, we're picking up..". I always try to make my appointment as early as possible because I work during the week and I have a long commute. Last time I mentioned to her that it took over an hour to be seen and instead of apologizing, I was told that I was "stressing her and her staff out" and "I should organize my life better". It was very rude and unprofessional of her as a provider to blame the patient on her office's incompetency. I work in the medical field and I have never treated my patients in this manner, when they complain I apologize and make an effort to fix the problem. Because of this I will not be coming back."
"Dr. Kelley has been our Family Physician for many years. She has a great fund of knowledge, is conservative in her treatments, and kind and compassionate. I would recommend her highly to anyone, for any reason."
"Dr. Kelly took her time to see me. She didn't rush to any conclusions or dismiss my opinion. She even called to review the test results when they arrived. I would definitely recommend her."
