"I didn’t like the first pcp that I met with here but I really do find Dr. Hema Patel to be knowledgeable. She listens to your concerns and answers questions in a way that the patient would understand. She is great at being sure to examine patients when they present with a concern and also giving results over the phone in a timely manner. She is also one of few doctors that do not dismiss concerns and is one of few doctors that has not blamed everything on my weight."

My experience with a staffer, who was rude and confrontational about my apparently having been incorrectly billed by their office- for my first visit-0 stars:(according to my insurance company, who is in the process of reprocessing their submission: their bill is not on par or within the stipulations of my plan). I have received no ruling from the insurance review yet, but this older and anonymous female staffer has unceremoniously threatened me with her threat that irregardless of the outcome of the insurance review: I am not a welcome patient at Dr Patel’s practice! That was her immediate response to me over a still to be sorted $20.00 possible billing error! As I’ve said, the doctors and most of the staff seem great, but..,???WOW!"

"Dr Patel has been my family doctor for years. When I see her, she's attentive and tells me what I need to hear, not what I want to hear. I moved away from the Katy area over a year ago and have struggled to find a doctor that is of the same caliber as Dr Patel and her team. Since moving away, I have continued to see Dr. Patel through telemedicine, which is convenient because I am 4 hours away. She understands my health concerns and has my best interests in mind.
