Reviews
"Museum was great, lots of interesting details about the expedition. Good visual representation and detailed displays to read. The outdoor camp representation was a let down. It's fallen into disrepair and not worth the walk out to see. Good addition to a day outing about the history surrounding the confluence and expedition."
"very friendly volunteer at the museum. The cross section of the keelboat is really good."
"The Lewis and Clark State Historical Site has a very good museum display of the key facts about their expedition. Numerous historical displays are there including portions of a log cabin, a replica example of the large boat used for the expedition and the various supplies and equipment needed for the expedition. Well worth stopping by and seeing it."
"Beautiful park to visit. Very clean place. They do an excellent job with keeping up the place. I definitely recommend coming here."
"This place is a gem, located on the Mississippi River approximately opposite its confluence with the Missouri. The visitor center is a clean, modern building with knowledgeable docents and good exhibits. There were few visitors on this early spring weekday. A good place to spend an hour or two. Admission was free, but I made a modest contribution."
