"Dr. Khan was always great, but is always booked. I have a chronic issue that I kept making appointments for and got no real answers. The last time I was seen in the office the PA was condescending and rude. So I got a second opinion for what was bothering me and had a really positive experience and outcome with another provider outside of this office. The new doctor asked for my records, and within one week of requesting my chart I received over $500 in bills and claims from HCAT of Aubrey, dating back to 2021. I had no outstanding bill last week when I called, but as soon as I requested my chart I owe all of these new bills?"

"Staff and doctors are nice enough, but we can never get a hold of them. Student physical => 3 weeks for a return phone call. Daughter fractured arm, 3 days and counting, no return phone call. In that 3 days, we changed providers, and talked with the new doctors office twice. Online scheduling you say? lol. No, it only works for "some providers". Just TERRIBLE experience communicating/scheduling with these people."

She will order all kind of blood test and unnecessary test ( Swab,etc) which are not required....I mistakenly went this place and got a bill of $200 for annual physical visit (I never paid ANY MONEY for the last 10 year physical visit)"

"This is the first time me going to Health care associates for Annual Physicals. I was seeing Graciela M. Diver, Nurse Practitioner (NP). The visit went well, they took my blood work and said they call in 3 days to go over the results. All good until I see a bill of $313 after couple of weeks in the mail, when I enquired about the bill the bill department says you did not meet the deductible so you got charged, which is not true as this is annual physicals which is 100% covered. Then I found out from my insurance claims history, they have charged 2 times for office visits. one for initial visit which is 100% covered and second is for the follow-up phone call to review the results. 2 things where I felt like I got deceived. 1. They never informed there would be a charge for follow-up phone call to review my blood results which totally not needed as the lab results clearly explain. 2. They were trying to cover up when I called they for explanation for the charge. This is totally unethically. Patient needs to be informed of all the charges that are imposed on him at least for the simple annual physical visit. I don't want anyone to be in my situation so when you make an appointment here, Please be aware of all the charges during the visit. Now after a month I received bill for $204 for annual tests which were done at the their facility. In last 15 years I never paid anything for annual physicals, Basically which are supposed to be covered made me responsible for paying $426 after insurance adjustments. Congratulation Health Care Associates Aubrey you successfully robbed a patient!"

"Location was nice and clean. I had no trouble finding the location right off 380. The nurse was extremely nice & I really enjoyed my new doctor Gracie. She was extremely helpful and very sweet. I’ve been looking for a PCP for quite sometime, and I must admit I can say I’ve found the one. Her hospitality and warm spirit was everything I’ve been looking for in a doctor. You can tell she really enjoys what she does. Thank you Healthcare Associates of Texas!"
