Reviews
"Some original home artifacts like Sister Browning's sewing basket, china, and silverware. Lots of original guns. Interesting presentation on how guns were made and history of this well-known inventor. View of temple from the headstone of his daughter in the backyard."
"It was absolutely amazing. The senior missionaries are very well educated on the browning family. It is super cool to see all the guns they had."
"Really cool to see all the guns invented there and by his son, didn't know how many famous guns were made by his son, it's very incredible to see and listen to. You can go on a walk through tour of the place during the day, I highly suggest it. Very accurate descriptions and very kind people to talk too!"
"Nauvoo was fantastic. Walk around the streets and the inside of businesses, buildings and homes of the pioneers. The missionaries were so well versed and able to not only quote and share pioneer stories but also hands-on experiences at the printing press, blacksmiths and many more! Highly recommend!"
"Regardless of religion this is a wonderful historic site to visit. The tour is well put together and well documented. The process of gun making in those days is a true art form. Hard to beat a place like this that is free to visit. I was there in an early fall Saturday and it was very quiet. No waiting for any of the tours. A must see if your headed through town."
