"OK WOW. Bear with me here because I am just overwhelmed with gratefulness to have found Dr. Akbar. After 5 years of cold, sterile, impersonal, and unkind infertility clinics that treat patients like a cattle call, I finally felt at home when I walked in here. I am 10 weeks pregnant and I've never seen Dr Akbar before (my regular OBGYN just retired..bad timing). Every person I met at her office introduced themselves by name, explained everything they were doing, walked me through everything step by step. Wow. Then Dr. Akbar comes in the room and literally spends 30 minutes with my husband and me....asking all the questions, answering all our questions, giving us as much info as humanly possible. I was just blown away. She is so kind, has a soft and warm personality, and was just so encouraging, positive, and supportive. Juxtaposed to my RE at the clinic whom I met literally 1 time out of the 50+ times I was at his office...I was just so relieved and happy to be with Dr. Akbar. I was so nervous to start out with a new doctor in the middle of my pregnancy, but man did it exceed all my expectations!"
