Covert Cadillac Service

"Be very careful bought a Cadilac from here and before I got home the backs of the seats fell off and they said it's not covered. I only have 44k miles on this car . Service says i need sparkplugs, coolant leak , Infotainment center won't work and an oil leak. This is ridiculous at only 44k miles. I will never get a cheaply made Cadilac again. Be aware. I brought it in again after they charge me $1200 to replace spark plugs saying they were fouled it lasted 2 days I brought it back in they said that spark plugs they put in weren't seated correctly it lasted 3 days I brought it back and it's been in there since now they're warranty is trying not to cover saying I put in some kind of stop leak when they are the only ones that worked on this car. They are now trying to tell me I owe $5,900 for a car they only has 44,000 miles . I bought the premium warranty for it because I was told when I bought the car it was the best warranty the car could get. Do not fall for the extended warranty from them it'd be very aware that they will try anyway they can to get around the warranty."

"I bought a 2020 CT5 on 11-13-2020 from Covert Cadillac, since then, all routine maintenance and repairs have been done at this location. My service advisor is Ryan. At my first oil change, early 2021, I told the advisor that my car didn’t feel right; hesitates to accelerate, jerking while driving, extremely loud when I start it, and that my brakes squeak. Of course I was told they found nothing wrong and was reassured that my brakes were fine. In 2022 Ryan told me that I needed to have carbon cleaning for the engine, a new transmission, and that was likely the reason for the car STILL sounding loud, jerking, etc. Fast forward to 2023, my car was still loud, squeaking brakes, jerking, hesitating to accelerate. October 16, 2023 while heading home, my check engine light came on and my car started losing power, in rush hour traffic on 183 North heading home. I took my car back to Covert and was informed I needed another transmission and the engine needed to be replaced. Covert had me pay for a carbon cleaning for my engine back in 2022 that I never needed. Sound like fraud to me. The engine should have been replaced then, but more so actually looked further into since my new car never drove like a new car. Covert had my car from latter September 2023 – December 8, 2023. Guess what? The first day I got my car back, December 9th, my car was still hesitating to start, jerking and not properly accelerating. The check engine light came on December 15th. On December 20th I lost power while exiting the toll. Ryan was notified December 15th but did not respond to me until December 21st. This time I was told the battery and fuse block was bad. Why didn’t the repairman catch this? I guess it’s safe to assume his job is to replace parts only, not actually repair vehicles. As always, I paid for whatever repairs/replacement they said I needed. Again, Covert has been servicing my car about every 4 months for routine maintenance since I bought it brand new November 13, 2020. I picked my car up from Covert on January 18th. Ryan returned to me a filthy car, did not replace my full tank of gas I left them with, and a red mark/scratch on the passenger door. That’s probably why they didn’t wash my car, the damage to the passenger door would have been more noticeable. Today, January 20th, I returned home to a puddle of transmission oil in my garage. This has been a nightmare, from the dismissive and dishonest advisor, the repair technician misdiagnosing my car, and putting me in a loaner with a bad tire that I had to pay out of pocket for the repair or be stranded. Putting me in three different loaners, none of them comparable to my vehicle. Looking forward to the excuses they’ll give me this time, and no mention of a refund for the services they recommended that I actually didn’t need."

"Covert Cadillac has truly amazing service! I recently went in for the first service on my Cadillac. They did oil change, checked all fluids and systems, rotated tires and more. It only took a little over an hour. And I was pleasantly surprised when I went to my car, it was washed outside and thoroughly cleaned inside as well! This is above and beyond, and I love my CT5-V! "I’m sad to post this as I’ve had 4 wonderful car buying experiences here at Covert Cadillac BUT, the service advisor (Russell) and service managers are a joke. So I go in to get an oil change and a 30,000 mile super service. I had a $25 coupon from Covert for the Super Service. As I’m sitting there discussing what I want done and talking with Russell, I SHOW him that I have this coupon. He looks at it and says I can use it when I check out after service is completed. So, I come back upon completion of services, pay and completely forgot I had the coupon in my purse. I called Russell today and he proceeds to tell me it has to be presented at time of purchase and proceeds to riddle off this incident with another customer trying to use a coupon that happened today, in a sad attempt to validate his refusal to let me bring in my coupon for a $25 refund. A situation that wasn’t even near similar to my situation. He laid eyes on my coupon. I’m shocked and honestly disappointed that a Cadillac dealership can’t afford to honor their coupons presented by a customer that has purchased 4 vehicles from them. Do better Covert! Much better."
