Then in the afternoon, he picked me up again so I could pick up my car once the service was complete. Prices were reasonable and service completed timely. "We paid $2500 at Lamb Tire & Automotive on FM 620 in Austin to have a Ford F250 battery and alternator replaced. On the first drive after we picked up the truck, the engine light came on, the truck engine powered down and would not go more than 15 mph. This had never happened before. We took the truck back the next day to Lamb Automotive to see what the issue was and see if they could take a quick look. The assistant manager didn’t give us the time of day and said that it was not their fault and the battery/alternator issue had nothing to do with the engine problems. He would not look at the truck that day and said it would be a few days before they could get to it. We took the truck to Jiffy Lube on 620 and Anderson Mill and it turns out that Lamb did not reconnect the charge tube after installing the alternator which was causing the engine problems. Disappointing to say the least to pay $2500 for Lamb to work on the car only to not reconnect the charge tube then refuse to even look at the truck that day when we came back. This place is over priced, poor workmanship, and does not take care of their customers if there is an issue. We will not be back!"
