"I was in and out in 10 minutes for a last minute international drivers license. Fast, and helpful! Can't remember girls name that assisted."
"Wont tow because of there winter restictions that said no emergency no tow."
"Overall AAA was good insurance & very reasonably priced. My agent Tina Turner showed and spoke unprofessional work ethics and respect. My policy was canceled due to lack of communication by both myself and Ms. Turner. At the time I just had just gone through two car accidents, two surgeries my bank account, computer & phone were all hacked. All passwords to my accounts & my mail was placed on hold.My boyfriend of 9 years had just been arrested for domestic battery on & animal cruelty on July 28th,2023. I was also trying to pack my belongings while going to physical therapy for my knee replacement. I was also having to take my puppy to Wisconsin, because his back was injured when he got kicked by the ex. I was waiting on my debit card to arrive so I could call Ms. Turner with the new number. Ms.Turner had called me early Friday( 9ish) and left a message about my policy being canceled. I called her back at 11am and left a message that I had my card and I wanted to give the number to her. I didn't call on Monday, but I called Tuesday and was able to give her the new number. About 10 minutes later she called and told me the policy was canceled yesterday. As I was telling her that she never returned my call on Friday after 11am. She started bombarding me with questions. Why didn't you pay online? Why didn't you call here and have someone do it? I know it's my responsibility, however her tone of voice and choice of words were very disrespectful. She told me she was going to reach out to higher authority and explain my situation. She told me to not drive. And if I didn't hear back from her by five that she hadn't heard back from the upper. She also told me to start calling other insurance. I called her around 2:30 ish 3pm and she said she was just getting ready to call me back. She informed me that AAA was not going to renew me. Funny thing....AAA kept my renters policy open & charged me for this month. With everything going on I haven't had the time to call corporate and discuss this with them. I was able to find insurance with another company, but what a kick in the teeth. I'm now paying twice the amount per month. I've been on disability and this 90 more a month will have to come out of food allowance. I just don't believe a insurance company would do this. I don't believe that Ms.Turner was even in the office after lunch time. When I went to the office to get my declaration page,I asked Ms.Turner who her supervisor is and could I please have the number. Ms. Turner was on her computer and Ill never forget her words. "Yeah ,AAA doesn't insure those kind of people anymore". I sat for a second, then I said" Those kind of people," what are those kind of people "? She replied " People that dont pay their insurance or let it lapse" I had to bite my tongue untill I left the building. I'm thinking she may need to not consume her lunch drinks when she's working under the AAA companies name or directly with customers. A very unsatisfied customer towards her now past agent."
"8/21/23 just changed my rating and I'm changing my review. I just called about my bill going up $428.46 every 6 months wow! When talking to a person, she said I had 3 vehicles on policy. Told her we only have 2 (we did have 3, one was in storage) when we decided to junk out the one in storage I called to cancel that one. Because we never received insurance card on that vehicle I assume they did my wishes. So today I found out I've been paying for the last 2 years. They more or less called me a liar ( my words not theirs) Needless to say looking for different company."
"I had a flat tire, which I discovered at around 6 pm on a Saturday. I called them right when I noticed this and was told someone would be there at 8:16 pm. By 9:30 pm, I realized no one was coming. I called to ask them to have someone come in the morning. Luckily I was able to stay the night at my location (I was at work). I was told someone would arrive between 8:30-10:30 am. No one came. I called to see why. They said they called me to ask if I still needed service. I had no missed calls or voicemails. Also, there was no indication of service not being required. I was then told I’d be put on a priority and someone would call me in 20-30 minutes. An hour later, no one called so I called them back. After being on hold for 30 minutes, I was told someone would arrive in 45 minutes after being approved. I received a text saying they would arrive at 1:16 pm. 1:16 arrived and no one was there. I called the towing company that they were supposed to send directly and the person there told me that they called him about pricing and never called him back to schedule him, nor did they tell him my name or location. I figured out how to get home with the help of a friend and later that night, AAA called me at 9:30 pm while I was going to bed to see if I ever got service. This was TWENTY-SIX HOURS after my original service request. If I had not figured out myself, I would have been sitting on the side of the road for over an entire day before anyone checked to see if I received service. I spoke to a supervisor and requested a refund for my subscription since it was a waste of money. I was told to call back on a weekday to receive the refund and a note was put in my file. After being transferred between at least 15 different representatives (including 2 from states I don’t even live in), I ended up on the phone with someone who was not responding or speaking with no hold music and eventually the call disconnected. I gave up and am disputing the charge with my credit card company because this service is a SCAM. It is a waste of money and creates more of a hassle than it did help me at all. I would have been better off trying to fix my tire myself in the first place. I did not want to leave a bad review, so long as I could have the issue remedied, but it was near impossible to get ahold of anyone who was able to do this. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A SUBSCRIPTION TO THIS COMPANY. Don’t even waste the storage space on your phone to download their app, it is also useless. I don’t understand how a company whose sole role is providing roadside assistance is incapable of providing roadside assistance. Thank god I was in a safe place or this story could have ended up much more horrifically than an angry customer."
