"I worked at NWM for a year, as well as had my mother’s account there. NW is a terrible company. They teach their reps to sell whole life insurance to everyone, which is absolutely not ethical. For new hires they wouldn’t let us even get our Series 6 or 63 for quite some time as we had to prove our selves selling Life , health and disability. 20 years later as an FA I couldn’t more strongly advise to NOT work with this company. Moving my mothers assets was painful and beyond and unprofessional experience. Looking for an advisor, firms like Raymond James and Edward Jones are much better companies. Also, how is there only two reviews including mine now. This is telling. The other persons review is spot on."

"Don't fall for the B.S. The people that work there aren't a licensed fiduciary but just sales people who push whole-life insurance policies and manage your money all while taking out a % fee. When we started wising up and asking questions about why not just invest in index funds that's when the lightbulb went off that these people don't care about me or my retirement, they care about their commission checks. Do yourself a favor and skip the financial advisor. Invest in index funds through Vanguard and save yourself the headache."
