"Transferring State Farm TN auto insurance to IL has been a nightmare. Mistakes, mistakes, mistakes (by both TN and IL offices), then everyone seems to be lying about what they've done to try to fix. IL says one thing, TN says another, Bloomington home office says something else. Said they talked with TN agent, no, they didn't--they sent an email. State Farm STILL owes me $200 overpayment after this office entered the wrong address. They refuse to refund via the credit card I've always paid with, and I've been waiting over a week to get a replacement check by snail mail. TN agent explained SF's interstate transfer process changed, and now agents have to actually talk to one another, but they DON'T. I've also gotten a random phone message for a totally different customer, asking for their premium payment. I've had State Farm insurance for 35+ years in 4 states, and this is the first time I've ever had any problems. Everyone at State Farm tells a different story, and I'm out $200. I'm one unhappy customer, soon to be ex-customer."
