Mobile Spot

"I saw the Mobile Spot store in a supermarket while I was shopping and inquired about both the cost and turn-around time of the work. I was quoted a decent price ($80-$90 to repair the touch-screen on an iPad Air2). The turnaround was quoted as two days. So I brought the iPad in (a trip of a half hour), and once it had been checked in, the receipt quoted me almost $40 more than the estimate had been. I was shocked and annoyed, but I had to get the thing repaired for work as soon as possible and didn't have time to find a new spot. Well, the two day turnaround was bogus, too: I'm still waiting on Day 4. I needed it yesterday, and had been relying on Mobile Spot's estimate. Foolish. Customer Service is awful: nobody seems willing or able to tell me where my device is or when it will be done. The number on the receipt went to the main store, not the branch I left the device at, and they couldn't tell me where my order was even with the order number. Edited to add: The work finally got done (two days longer than the estimate). The home-button on my iPad is now extremely hard to push. So add shoddy workmanship to my list of dissatisfactions. I'm really unhappy with this place."
