"Hired TWT to build a cabana in my backyard and had a surprisingly bad experience. I selected them over 5 other contractors I met with since they seemed the most professional and responsive. So I was very surprised as things started going downhill as construction began. The two biggest problems were that 1) I ended up having to project manage a lot of the work myself (identifying mistakes, scheduling times with subcontractors, etc), and 2) I had to fight with the owner to get certain mistakes fixed. In the end, we ended up disputing the contract wording over several minor items that they could easily have taken care of in the spirit of providing a good customer experience. Given the high contract price and amount of problems I did not fight, it’s mind blowing they didn’t try to meet me halfway on the mistakes I did point out. I get the sense that TWT over-extended themselves on the number of projects they took on, and as a result their quality and customer service has taken a big hit. I should have realized that most of their great reviews are from 1+ years ago, likely when they were still committed to quality over quantity."

"Keith and team at TWT did an excellent job on our backyard renovation. The project was completed on time and for the exact amount quoted. Keith was very responsive and easy to get ahold of when needed, and his work crew was very professional. The addition integrates very well with our existing roof line and looks like it was always part of the house. We'll be enjoying our new deck and screened patio for many years to come. "TWT built us an outdoor living space - gabled covered patio addition (attached to roof), with flagstone, railings and electrical (4 recessed lights and fan). They were amazing! I highly recommend. Keith was super responsive, and from our perspective, the project came in on time and on-budget -minus a concrete surprise we found after demolition started. Keith and his team were honest, cared about what we wanted and did everything to bring our vision to life. Their roofing experience was a big plus for us as the patio cover was being attached to the roof. They showed up when they said they would, had a plan and a sequence as to how the work would be done, and we were kept abreast every step of the way. Everything happened the way they said it would - such a pleasure to work with! I would work with them again."
