"Really wanted to try the drinks out but unfortunately the service was terrible. Came in with a group celebrating a birthday and sat at the bar. Wasn’t too busy but sat there patiently waiting for the bartender (any of 3) to come up and get our drink order. Time passed and I noticed they kept looking over at us but no one would come over. After a while, both of the male bartenders made eye contact with some of us but still hadn’t came over. I had my card in plain view to signal I was ready but still nothing. More people started pouring in and everyone else was getting attended except for us. I wanted to call over any of the bartenders but felt it would’ve been rude to wave them over especially since they were getting busier. We eventually realized none of us had gotten a drink so we decided to leave. We left pretty disappointed. Honestly, I can’t recommend this bar to anyone since service was trash and never got to try a drink. Also, the bouncer was possibly the nicest person at the entire bar. He was welcoming and sweet."

"We had the best time here, each time we went. First was a weekend early afternoon, the music was going and the crowd at the bar was really feeling it, and so were we. The next time, we went on a quiet Monday night and it was intimate and relaxed. The mood, lighting, and music is fantastic. There was a kind older gentleman who waltzed through selling homemade tamales which we of course had. It's great to see a place like this embrace Hispanic culture in a way that is approachable to everyone. As a Hispanic myself, I love that everything here creates a welcome atmosphere for all. The drink menu is awesome, and you order drinks based around the main spirit. All the ones I've had were delicious and range from tangy to sweet to smoky. Try them all! Dogs welcome, too."
