"Used this company for a small ice-maker leak. The tech left and the leak is now making its way outside the fridge into the floor. The leak is infinitely larger. Now, no one is answering their phone and voicemail response is, no voicemail option. Come on. **Update** You can only interact with this company through their averting service who only interacts with them through email. We’re going to have to replace the ice-maker and the timeframe is seven to 10 business days. Don’t waste your time or money with this company."

"2 appliances. 1 repaired after nearly 3 weeks, the other found unrepairable after another 3 day wait for additional parts, but, outcome was not reported to warranty company for *another* 3 business days passing by, holding up getting replacement approval. On first visit, repair tech was asked to check a specific component for failure, but tech seemingly ignored the request, leading to 2 follow-up visits, each with the next set of needed parts, only to end up finding the part I asked be checked initially had indeed failed, making it deemed unrepairable. Fine. But why the delay reporting the outcome? So, mixed results, I would say. Seems to have an answer service, and did not return calls when requested. Had an odd door manner, almost like I did not need to know who was entering my home. 3 out of 5 might be too high a rating! What do you think?"
"American Home Shield assigned ALERT Appliance for my microwave and oven repair. ALERT Appliance picked up my appliances on August 29th. New parts needed to be ordered so when I didn't hear back immediately I wasn't too concerned. When I hadn't heard from ALERT Appliance in three weeks I got worried. I called ALERT Appliance on September 21st. The dispatcher needed to check with the shop and get back with me. I received a call the next day, September 22nd and all of a sudden my appliances were ready to be brought back to my house. This was suspicious and I knew something was up so I kept asking the dispatcher if my appliances were actually fixed. To this I didn't get a yes or no answer and the technician was scheduled to bring back my microwave and oven the following Monday, September 25th. The microwave was fixed, however, the oven was not. There was a language barrier so I wasn't able to effectively communicate with the technician. I don't know if the technician was telling me the part couldn't be found or didn't come in or I would get called if they found it. I don't know but in any case I have a non-working oven after three weeks of using my air fryer to cook everything. I'm so frustrated that the only thing I can do is try to make sure no one else goes through this. Also, shame on American Home Shield for not thoroughly vetting ALERT Appliance before sending them to their clients' homes. A quick Google and Yelp search turned up about a dozen bad reviews. AHS - pathetic!!!"
