"Idiotic children. That's what I get every time I have to come in for warranty issues. Not one employee can do their job independently. No matter the issue, expect two or more children who have no idea what they're doing to keep asking each other"What's next?" because they have zero training and zero clue what to do. I paid for a 2 year warranty on my Elite Controller. The head child behind the desk sent it out under standard manufacturers warranty instead of sending it under the complete coverage that I paid for. Wasted a month of my time when the controller came back in unrepaired because the standard warranty didn't cover the repair. How dumb do you have to be to go through an hour long process on an extended warranty claim, and then send it out under the manufacturers warranty? I mean - this is supposed to be a money maker for Best Buy- extended warranties. Maybe that's why they played dumb when the controller was "ready to be picked up" and unrepaired. I honestly don't think they even sent it out to be repaired. Be on guard against these slackers. They have zero chance of doing something competently."
"Service is SO SLOW. There are always several people walking around with geek squad shirts but only one person helping a line of 6+ people with an average time per customer of 20 minutes. Insane!"
"So I had a protection plan from them that cost 499.95 annually. I tried to cancel the subscription a year later and they said it was cancelled. 3 months later I get charged that amount TWICE within two weeks. I call for help to cancel again. The cancellation team was nice but the billing team was SO RUDE! He had an attitude with me after we tried to connect my bank account to get the refund because it wasn’t working as if that’s my fault. Then he said he would talk to his team to see if they would send me a check. He never said how long that would take and just hung up the phone. I wait 45 minutes then call them back to ask what’s taking so long. The same person declined my call 2 times and then the third time he answered and had an attitude with me again. Then in the middle of explaining why I’m blowing their phone up he hangs up in my face. How do you take almost 1000 dollars from me then catch an attitude because you don’t know how to refund the money? Worst service ever I wish I got his name so I could report it."
"It's a joke how they promote this service to deliver and install the appliances. Hang it up geek squad the logistics is too much for you. I have had to reschedule a delivery now 5 x after the confirmation email is sent & they no-show the appointment the wait times are between 8-12 so i spent so many days so many hours waiting it's ridiculous."
