"I called this company for the first time today to inquire about the availability of a part and potentially book a service call. When you dial, there is an automated prompt that says “please press 1 to speak with an appliance repair specialist.” That is the only option. I pressed 1 and a gentleman answered who, well, did not appear to be interested in assisting. I asked if they had a part available, and he explained he could not check on that. I kindly explained that I understand, but the conundrum is I was looking for someone who has the part available now, rather than a company that comes and reviews, orders the part, and then comes back a week later (it’s a refrigerator part, so food is sitting in coolers in the interim). Right after I explained that and asked if there was any way he could help me pin down whether the part is available, the gentleman said “good luck with that” and hung up. I called back and, unfortunately, the only prompt option led me right back to him. Maybe he was having a bad day, so I asked if he was ok. He said he felt the conversation was over, so he ended it. When I asked if I could speak with a superior to try to help the company better serve potential customers, he said I couldn’t speak with anyone. I calmly asked “are you the owner?” He said no, and then said “just call someone else.” Then he hung up again. That’s the kind of service this company offers, so it probably doesn’t bode well if you ultimately get a repair tech on the line or to come out. Other companies I have called since have been much more helpful."
