"We love Rover Oaks for our yellow lab Maggie Mae! We moved across town and still bring her back for daycare and for vacation stays. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating anytime we’ve needed a last minute bath or lodging. Most importantly-Maggie Mae loves it! We’ve been going to Rover Oaks for about 9 years. They took great care of our sweet Dolly for a couple of years before we lost her. She was in a modified daycare setting that was perfect for her needs. I highly recommend Rover Oaks for all of your pet needs. Their training department is great as well!"

"This place is amazing! They are so accommodating and are in touch with you while your pet is staying with them. I did not worry at all about Brick while he was there. We had to extend his stay unexpectedly and, they were so nice and worked with me. It was a pleasure dealing with them and I definitely will use them again when I am in Houston! Great job!"

"This was the first time our 7 year old Doodles did not stay at home while we traveled. It was nice I could see them on cameras, seeing they were ok. One of my girls got ill and was immediately taken to her vet. The appt was made by Roveroaks and they called me to ask if it was ok to take her in to her vet. The vets treatment was followed up by her caregivers at Roveroaks and she came home smiling with her sister 10 days later. Good job. We will be back. Thank you. Kerry"

"I’m very happy with my first experience with Rover Oaks. The management was very responsive and they treated my puppy so well. They explained everything clearly. Everything went seamlessly. My puppy had an absolute blast and she was well taken care of. They even gave me a progress report! I am very impressed and I plan to be back soon."

"OUR DOG COULD HAVE DIED. While our dog was boarded at a Rover Oaks (Houston location), he did not receive the level of care due to him. We paid for the luxury suite enhanced with a camera. The silver package meant our dog would be taken for a walk 5 times daily - this DID NOT happen. When representatives did sit in the suite with our dog during his appointed play time, they STARED at their phones, and did not give our dog ANY attention we paid for him to receive. I believe this is a tolerated practice, as we witnessed 3 different employees behave similarly. On the last day of our dog's stay, he suffered an anxiety attack - likely due to boredom and not getting out of his suite the prescribed number of times. We know with certainty that our dog was vocal. He began to destroy and ingest his memory foam bed and toys. This was witnessed by staff, and they did not act for over 1.5 hours - this happened on camera during business hours. Even when they removed his toys and bed from his suite, we were never notified, nor was he taken to a vet - the ingestion of memory foam is LIFE THREATENING. When we questioned the staff regarding their protocol under such circumstances - we received no answer. Their staff is doesn't seem to care at all. One of the customer service representatives laughed as she described how our dog vomited and ate it. We took our dog to the vet that day. He vomited for 3 days. He had to stay overnight at the vet to see if the foam in his stomach would pass on its own. We barely missed a costly surgery to remove the foam. I write this to warn potential dog owners who are considering boarding their dog at Rover Oaks - Houston location. If you care about your dog, PLEASE DO NOT BOARD YOUR DOG AT ROVER OAKS. They refunded our money, but who cares when your dog could have died? The neglect was lawsuit level bad. There are several options in Houston that truly care about the animals that visit. Choose one of those instead. We've previously boarded our dog at the Katy location and other boarding facilities with no incident."
