"Our fireplace is 27 years old and never been cleaned. We found Master Services (google) and made an appointment. JC from Master Services came out and inspected and cleaned our fireplace. We have put this off for years and are so glad we had the fireplace cleaned. JC is a Great representative for Master Services. No BS and was straight forward with us."

"Scam? In October 2021, we had new logs and an electronic starter installed. The work was fine and we were happy. In April this year, six months later, they notified us that we had to have a $250 inspection or we would lose our warranty. The young man who came out was very nice - but only 4 mos. on the job plus a relative of management. After inspection, his estimate of repairs was $24,636. The estimate even included missing parts from their prior work. When asked how the chimney went from perfectly fine to needing to be completely torn down a few months later, we were told that they had new cameras, the guys who came out last time were gone, ethical problems, etc. I tried calling to talk to the owner - no one returned my call. Sent an email to "Customer Service" - no response."

"Called for a chimney inspection and chimney cap replacement. I advised them our roof was steep and they said that wouldn’t be a problem. The technician came out and inspected the chimney but wouldn’t get on the roof because it was too steep. We were quoted over $4,000 in scaffolding and over $100 for safety equipment just to get on the roof to see what size they need to order! Never got the cap size, I paid for the inspection, and with a quote for over $20k in repairs and services - not going to move forward with MS. We have had Christmas light put up, have had roof repairs and full roof replacement without a lift or scaffolding needed."
